Many visitors arrive finding their wardrobe does not work for Samui island life where the temperatures rarely fall below 28°c day or night! You can find help in our boutique. I provide casual, edgy, boho clothing and accessories that are perfect for Koh Samui island life; clothes that breathe fit and flow, taking you from beach to bar.
The Kanika boutique is in the centre of Nathon, the island capital. A busy Samui town popular with locals, close to the ferries and pier where we welcome international travellers. Our customers are varied, they are island residents and visitors. They are all seeking out something for now, they want something a bit boho that works well here on Samui something ,that its is versatile and different.
Bags & Design
I design and hand-make my handbags and carefully select clothing and accessories to be just right for Koh Samui island life. I am inspired by dreams of travel and influenced by the different clothing cultures of Japan & Korea. I love being creative and experimenting with prints and fabrics. I am not afraid of bold and confident colours. I don’t follow trends; I believe in good design expressed with my own unique sense of style. I am respectful of the environment. I cannot bear to waste anything. I strive to recycle and use every possible item and every tiny scrap of fabric.
I am always looking for local designers that are creative, boho, and edgy that will appeal to my ever-changing, savvy and discerning customers. Along with the bags that I make here in the shop you will also find lots of items that are made here on the island.
Clothes & Accessories
My clothes and accessories are different and sometimes quirky, Never bland and boring. They are comfortable to wear and reflect styling as individual as my customers are. Here on Samui, we are relaxed, chilled to horizontal. We love to go barefoot and put our feet in the sand. We still appreciate fashionable sandals and flip-flops.
My aim is for my customers is to enjoy wearing my clothes and accessories as they become their favourite items for tropical life and an island holiday.
